A New Kind of Social | October 5, 2011
There was a time when I had two friends. Two.
My social life improved before the internet, but today it struck me how many people are in my life that I would have lost touch with, or never connected in the first place. It keeps the conversation going or gets one started where paths might never cross again.
I’ve followed friends and family around the globe, as thought they were down the street. I’m leaving my family for 3 weeks - knowing that each day I can see and hear them – connect with them.
How I love you interwebs.
When are you leaving??
ReplyDeleteMonday morning :-)
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way!
ReplyDeleteFunny thing is, you were one of the people I was thinking of...imagine we had just met once or twice in class...would we have ever become friends?? OH the HORRORS!
ReplyDeleteI just saw that you replied to this comment now. It would be HORRORS if we didn't become friends! I love having you around, even if it's predominantly in my FB world. :) I love you in person too, I just don't see you enough.
