The world is still spinning - AWESOME! | October 11, 2011

It’s a truly bizarre feeling.  It’s like being transported to some parallel dimension where I am surrounded by stupidly smart people, and castles, and peacocks, and rainbows.  Literally.

I keep waiting to freak out because I’ve forgotten about something that’s due or get a call that I need to race home for some crisis that cannot be dealt with without me.

Good news: I’m not indispensible.

It’s nice to feel wanted and appreciated (which I do) but great that my life is in a place where the world doesn’t come to end while I get brainfood…and take pictures of peacocks.
